I am glad to hear the young men of Michigan have lots of "pocket change" and are very busy.

2) Useful Program ... [by Mike Hignite on September 28, 2007]
In 1940. Not so much today.

This was a make-work program done to keep young men busy and earning pocket change during the great depression.

If you can't get rid of this now, when will you be able to?

5) Don't do it [by jercommm on September 28, 2007]
This is one of the few government programs that has done much to help the citizens. I know many people, including my Father that had many good things to say about it. Don't get rid of it! I am certain the money used for this would be wasted on some already useless program that is paid for by the few remaining taxpayers in what once was a great State.

1) CCC Endowment [by Anonymous Citizen on November 30, 2007]
This is another stupid stop gap measure to plug holes in the budget. Why doesn't the legislature simply tell all the youth in the State of Michigan that "we don't care about your future. we want to play politics".
