1) Strange subsidy by Mike Hignite on September 10, 2007 The state taxes people so it has enough money to spend on advertising to have tourists visit and spend money so that some of us will have more money?
2) Priorities by Anonymous Citizen on August 30, 2007 Maybe we need to spend every dollar and every effort to keep people LIVING in Michigan before we worry about the tourist part. If it's an attractive state the 'message' will get out without having to spend a lot of money needed elsewhere. Reply
