1) Gaining a Competitive Edge by Anonymous Citizen on January 28, 2008 Michigan needs "right to work" more than ever. If you are truely adding value to your company, why would you fear for your job? Nobody should take there job for granted, and it seems as though there are far too many in this state that do. Sure you'll be able to make more money now, but is that worth it when your children can not get jobs because businesses are too scared to invest in a lazy overpaid Michigan workforce? Reply
2) Right to Work by Anonymous Citizen on January 11, 2008 For those of you who think living in a right to work state is so wonderful, let me tell you what just happened to my sister-in-law. Her boss called her into his office a couple of months ago and informed her that, effective immediately, she was taking a 45% pay cut. No union equals no bargaining power. How many of you could live on 45% less? Reply
3) Well Said by Anonymous Citizen on July 6, 2007 Don't forget that they take your money and then spend it to elect more socialists. When the uaw got started the reuther brothers went to moscow for 6 months to learn how to organize. Unions are an anchor on the economy. At one time they may have been needed but today all they do with their everybody is equal crap is protect the worst workers. Look at the schools, when was the last ime a teacher was fired for being a lousy teacher????? Unless they get caught noodling a student they have a job for life. We have thrown an entire generation of our children under the teachers union bus. Reply
