rehabilitation is supposed to DETER criminals from recidivism.

it doesn't work.

let's see...

not a deterrent.

costly (extremely and provably so).

unfairly administered.

poor public policy.

so, why, dear liberals, do we STILL have rehabilitation?

these four things are the ONLY arguements against the death penalty, and you don't want that.

oh, yeah.. there IS that innocence thing.

have any innocent people been through REHABILITATION??? you betcha.

2) isn't continuing to dump  by Anonymous Citizen on June 5, 2007
funds into a failed program constitute A BAD PUBLIC POLICY?

how many MILLIONS have we dumped into rehabilitation with NO RESULTS?

a goodly portion of this state's yearly budget is wrapped up in the MYTH of rehabilitation. it's time to come back to reality.

let's see, high costs, zero results, unfair implementation (only those in jail get it), and poor public policy.

hmmm.. we HAVE rehabilitation, which violates the 'FOUR COMMANDMENTS' of liberals, but we DON'T have the death penalty. why is that???

do they ONCE AGAIN speak with forked tongue???

of course they do.

3) dr. kevorkian is PROOF  by Anonymous Citizen on June 5, 2007
that the 'rehabilitation policy' of this state DOESN'T WORK.

he is an educated man, a medical doctor, who COULD NOT BE REHABILITATED.

if ANYONE could have, it should be him.

so, if the star pupil of the rehabilitation program wasn't rehabilitated (only punished), then the system DOESN'T WORK.
