Introduced by Sen. John Gleason (D) on May 24, 2007, to revise a law establishing that a manufacturer is not liable in a product liability lawsuit for failure to provide an adequate warning if the product is provided for use by a sophisticated user. Under the bill, this would not apply to a manufacturer of a chemical who undertakes to manage the use of the chemical for the purchaser or user.
