1) At a time when ... by MTH on January 31, 2007 At a time when the state funding of schools is being pillaged (becasue rape is such a harsh word), Michigan continues to pile new expenses onto schools AND require more "in classroom" spending. Which would you like to have?
Seat belts have been PROVEN multiple times over to have NO SAFETY BENEFITS in school buses (please check the statistics yourself www.americanschoolbuscouncil.org) and they will increase the cost per bus by several thousand dollars.
