Introduced by Sen. Alan Sanborn (R) on January 30, 2007, to prohibit and provide penalties of up to 93 days in jail for a person who operates a vehicle in which a sexually explicit image is being displayed. The image must be visible to someone within 100 feet who is incapable of taking reasonable action to avoid it (for example, being stuck in a traffic jam behind a car with an adult video playing inside). It would be a violation if the person displaying the material realizes this and still does not turn it off.
Referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee on January 30, 2007.
