2) Give them the day off... by Anonymous Citizen on May 5, 2007 The legislature loves to recognize Special Days, Special Weeks, etc. We could fix a lot of our problems if we gave the entire state government the day off on each of these Special Days. Reply
3) Lawless Day by Anonymous Citizen on May 5, 2007 Better idea for a new Special Day: Lawless Day, as in, no laws proposed or passed on that day. Declare every day Lawless Day except for Feb. 29 on years evenly divisible by 19. Or, Law-Repeal day, on which each legislator must find and propose for repeal one law each. Similar frequency. Reply
