Introduced by Rep. Barbara Farrah (D) on November 13, 2007, to add an exception to the law establishing that a person who leases real estate is liable for the property taxes on it. The exception would be for certain tax reverted property after it’s been leased for five years.

1) NO WAY [by Anonymous Citizen on November 28, 2007] there is no way that the property owner should not pay his/ her own taxes. they charge enough in the lease to do so.
this is one stupid idea. i own my own property and do not lease. i should be responsible for my own taxes. Reply
