Introduced by Rep. Brenda Clack (D) on October 30, 2007, to require the family division of a circuit court to notify the Secretary of State of when a high school student is cited for truancy, so the juvenile’s license can be suspended or a new one not issued for six months, as proposed by House Bill 5280.

This is great plan and will encourage youth to attend school. High School drop outs cost the state too much money!

You people in Lansing are just nutz to come up with these ideas. Why not try and do something that will help this State instead of ridiculous punishment type of laws?
