My comments have relatively nothing to do with the proposed legislation; it is only the opportunity for me to awaken the inner political souls of our state regarding Child Welfare and Federal False Claims.
Executive Order 2008-21 contains a few line-item standing ovations in the Department of Human Services, budget cuts, mainly adoption subsidies. Refraining from federal commentary, why would one give incentives for what has already been contracted?
So, just to stir more than souls, I am hopeful to stir ire. Does not Executive Order 2008-21 violate the federal settlement agreement with the preditorial attorney-fee-grifter, Children's Rights?
Why does Michigan enjoy doling out hush money it does not have? Would it not be more cost-beneficial to just adopt an effective Medicaid False Claims Act or would that cut into some of our elected officials' personal profit of public office?
