Introduced by Rep. Neal Nitz (R) on October 16, 2007, to allow personal watercraft equipped with a 170-degree rearview mirror to tow a water skier or tuber without having a “spotter” on board to alert the operator that the skier or tuber is “down.” The exemption would also extend to ski school boats and water ski competitions.
