Tonya Schuitmaker (R) on August 8, 2007, to establish that a unit of government that provides provide safety, rescue and emergency communication equipment at a public beach is performing a “governmental function,” which has legal implications for interfering with such equipment, and limits a government’s liability from lawsuits related to providing the equipment.
