I don't like looking at the home that always looks like a junkyard we don't need to give any more power to the imperial government. Always look to the law of unintended consequences.
Wait till someone in the township decides that your American flag looks trashy. We have become a nation of sheep. If your neighbor is a pig, tell him.

This will never be an issue for the 99.9% of people who take care of their property. But for the scumbags who live with grass 3' high, dozens of junk cars and health-hazard blight, now it can be cleaned up and the slumloard will get the bill. Good neighbors shouldn't have to look at filth, and lose property value, because of slobs. I'm all for it. It's another weapon to fight "creeping blight" -- a disease that destroys neighborhoods,

3) Taxpayers! WAKE UP!  by Anonymous Citizen on June 12, 2007
Township and City governments should not be able to encumber your property with ex post facto deed restrictions. They are forcing you to contract, forcing you to participate in a property owner's association without consent, and eroding your absolute property rights without any compensation whatsoever.
