Introduced by Rep. Terry Brown (D) on May 1, 2007, to require the Departments of Agriculture and Environmental Quality to publish a booklet identifying environmental laws and rules affecting farms and farming operations, and also post it on their web sites.
- Referred to the House Agriculture Committee on May 1, 2007.
  - Reported in the House on June 28, 2007, with the recommendation that the substitute (H-2) be adopted and that the bill then pass.

I doubt that even a small subset of active regulation / legislation would fit into an encyclopedia-sized tome, much less a "booklet".

let the farmers' own private organizations do this compilation, at their own expense.

A way for farmers to be sure they are complying with the law and protecting our environment. Information makes compliance easier.
