1) WOW by Anonymous Citizen on June 20, 2007 Wow... it's over for this state's economy... too bad our families lives here and my wife wont let us leave. We are just successful enough that we can stay here by God's grace. We have had to, and will continue to trim our other programs due to subsidizing a child (my son). The thing is we prioritize expenses and cut the waste (you can always find some). At first I decided inform my boss she would be paying me extra from now on... I told her we demanded more revenue to fund exciting projects that would "expand my view of the world" ... literally. No dice, back to the budget... she did have that freedom, do we? Reply
2) kat by Anonymous Citizen on April 26, 2007 If Michigan, the Great Take State, has given up trying to encourage tourism as well as hunting & fishing, I suggest that all of us take a look at the cost of out of state licenses to buy from our neighboring states. For us, it will be cheaper than buying a Michigan license to do our fishing out of state. So it's a short ride - at least we're wanted there and the fishing is really good. Reply
