• Introduced by Rep. Virgil Smith, Jr. (D) on March 20, 2007, to require the chief circuit judge of a circuit to be elected by the other judges in any circuit having three or more judges. House Joint Resolution G would authorize a vote of the people to put this in the Constitution.
