Introduced by Rep. Kevin A. Elsenheimer (R) on March 13, 2007, to prohibit compelling a government employee or prospective employee to join or financially support a union as a condition of employment. This and House Bill 4454 would make Michigan a "right to work" state.

1) Michigan's future by Anonymous Citizen on April 7, 2007 Yes this should definitly be done, the time for unions is over, the days where state employees and unions is over, people don't get pension, healthcare, and billions of sick days. Why should state employees get benefits that the average joe doesen't get. Granholm is out to protect the unions, this is why this bill won't get through. Reply
