Introduced by Rep. Jacob Hoogendyk, Jr. (R) on March 6, 2007, to establish English as the official state language. This would apply to governmental communications, but not the private sector. It would establish that state agencies and local governments are not required to provide documents, public written materials, or website content in any language other than English, but does not prohibit them from doing so.
Referred to the House Oversight And Investigations Committee on March 6, 2007.

3) sacrificing [by Anonymous Citizen on March 10, 2007] liberty at the liberal altar of equality.
that's what you are expected to do if you are a left leaning democrat.
if you MUST be equal to someone, you either have to speed up to keep up with him (unacceptable to a liberal) or slow down to allow him to keep up with you (very acceptable to a liberal).
why must we be equal?
the liberals don't treat everyone equally, yet they trounce on anyone ELSE who doesn't treat everyone equally.
the liberals don't hesitate to let their prejudices and discriminations show, yet they trounce on everyone else who has a prejudice or exercises a choice they don't agree with.
liberals are for killing babies, but against killing heinous murderers.
they SAY they are FOR gay rights, but in over 40 years of congressional control, and LONGER THAN THAT of state legislative control, they have YET to pass a single piece of pro gay union legislation.
they have yet to pass a single piece of legislation that would allow gays to inherit from their 'life partners'.
they have yet to pass a single piece of legislation that would 'equalize' homosexuals as a group, allowing them full rights and responsibilities as citizens.
now, let's hear how PRO GAY you liberals REALLY ARE. Reply
