2) Advetising Michigan Water Label by Anonymous Citizen on March 1, 2007 I beleive the label, unless it is stated that it is being wihtdrawn with possible harm, will promote the public to buy it. People have no idea what is at stake when shallow aquifers are mined for water bottling co's. profits. They don't have a clue and this would be more government regulation that would be useless like any other lableling I.E. Alcahol, Tobacco, etc.
This legislator needs to get the facts and fight the mining and removal of "spring water" from Michigans Water Wonderland (Wonder Where it Went).
3) Spring Water labeling by Anonymous Citizen on February 28, 2007 Whether you agree or disagree with the extraction of spring water for profit; it seems only responsible to inform consumers so they may have a choice. Many consumers are unaware that the extraction of spring water to be bottled MAY BE HARMING the environment from the source site. If the label states this; consumers are allowed to make their own decisions regarding the purchase or lack there of, of spring water. Reply
