• Introduced by Rep. Aldo Vagnozzi (D) on February 14, 2007, to require death certificates to be filed with a Medicaid estate recovery program that has been proposed. This is a program in which the cost of services provided to Medicaid recipients (most often nursing home or long-term care services) may be recovered from the person’s estate after death.
