Introduced by Rep. Kathy Angerer (D) on February 13, 2007, to slightly relax certain deadlines in a provision of the state property tax law that allows the deferral of delinquent property tax fees for back taxes owed on the principle residence of certain individuals, including senior citizens, the disabled, etc.

This would make it a little easier for senior citizens who rely on their homestead income tax credit to pay their property taxes. It's a simple, good idea.

what those taxes pay for before we call them NECESSARY.

we would have a lot few taxes to pay if the state only busied itself with the proper role of government.

i don't see where ANY of the recent bills have been anything resembling the proper role of government.

maybe if they did that in lansing instead of all the nonsense they have pumped out lately, people would be free to go about their business and able to keep their homes.
