1) The neediest [by Anonymous Citizen on April 30, 2007] The people who "need" these scholarships the most are the politicians who dole out this government cheese to encourage the sheeple to keep propping them up in Lansing.
2) Aldo Vagnozzi doesn't care about you or your kids [by Anonymous Citizen on April 29, 2007] He is in the business of crafting legislation which benefits the few at the expense of the many. Sadly, many in Lansing act the same way. Reply
3) Scholarships [by Anonymous Citizen on April 23, 2007] My husband and I make a decent living but there is no way we will be able to pay for our children to go to college. All their lives, we have been stressing to them that they need to do well in school so that they have the possibility of getting a scholarship. I guess we should just tell them not to bother now since, if this bill passes, they won't have a chance for a scholarship. Why is it that we feel the need to award scholarships to athletes and poor kids but we spit on the other kids? Why is it that the smart kids who work hard to get good grades don't deserve recognition? This bill is unfair. Reply
