1) Sounds great,but..... by Anonymous Citizen on February 16, 2006 On the surface this is a wonderfully healthy law to enact. Unfortunately, unless funding for new gyms and additional PE teachers are included, you won't see ANY result from this legislation.
The majority of PE teachers are not able to add additional classes to their schedule. This is due to lunch and other programs being scheduled in the multi-purpose room. In addition to considerations of space, many districts would lack the finances to add PE teachers to help with the increased workload. Reply
