  • Introduced by Rep. LaMar Lemmons III on January 27, 2005, to place before voters in the next general election a Constitutional amendment to extend the term limits of state representatives, to allow them to serve up to four terms of two-years each. Under current law, representatives may only serve three terms.

You have not given term limits the oportunity to work. Other states operate quite well, not only with limited terms but with a part-time legislature.
