Introduced by Rep. Steve Bieda (D) on June 13, 2006, to increase from 10 years to 20 years the maximum prison term for embezzlement and similar crimes committed against a vulnerable adult (such as a person in a nursing home).

2006 House Bill 6190 -- Increase embezzlement against vulnerable adult penalty

Anyone who would take advantage of the most vulnerable people should pay a huge price -- and also reimburse those vulnerable for the con job done to them.
