To repeal the 60 day deadline provision in the law passed in December, 2005 granting $4.0 million for the Detroit Zoological Society if it takes over management of the Detroit Zoo. The bill was introduced one week after the Detroit City Council voted on the eve of the expiration of the deadline to not turn over zoo management to the society.
