Introduced by Rep. Gary Newell (R) on February 28, 2006, to authorize and require a "limited license" for a health professional licensed in another state in order for the person to act as an expert witness and provide testimony on the appropriate standard of practice or care in a medical malpractice lawsuit. The limited license would not allow the person to practice in this state.
