Impose licensure on clinical lab experts

To require licensure and regulation of clinical laboratory scientists/medical technologists, clinical laboratory technicians/medical technicians, and clinical laboratory assistants. The bill would create a state board to establish licensure and competence assessment requirements for licensees. License applicants would be required to pass a test, and meet certain education standards established in the legislation. The license would cost $75 per year, with a $20 application fee.
