Introduced by Sen. Samuel B. Thomas, III (D) on June 2, 2005, to prohibit building a school or playground on a contaminated site unless the site has been cleaned to the same standard required for residential construction. The bill also requires public notice of the contamination, and annual monitoring of the site.
