Introduced by Sen. Bill Hardiman (R) on May 11, 2005, to reduce the scope of practice restrictions on licensed marriage and family therapists by allowing them specifically to practice psychotherapy with individuals, families, couples, or groups as it relates to marital or family relations and the diagnosis, assessment, and treatment of mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders as they relate to marital or family relations.
