Introduced by Rep. Robert Gosselin (R) on December 14, 2005, to require state departments to file annual reports with details on taxpayer-funded vehicles. These details would be posted on the internet, and would include the type of vehicle, the price paid (or lease amount), the annual mileage driven, which employees are authorized to use them, and the name of the supervisor in charge of each vehicle.
Referred to the House Government Operations Committee on December 14, 2005.
Reported in the House on February 7, 2006, with the recommendation that the substitute (H-2) be adopted and that the bill then pass.
