Name the Lodge anything you want in Detroit but when it leaves the City of Detroit, the name stays the same.  Remember when Coleman Young told "Whitey" to hit 8 mile?  Well, it has consequences and they are present to this day.  Keep Coleman Youngs name within the city limits and we are fine.

While Coleman Young deserves our repect for his efforts durring WWII, after the fisrt few years as Mayor of Detroit he was a devisive influence. He did more to harm race relations in the metro area than any other individual than I can think of. He became bitter and used race to justify his reelection and his failure to transform Detoit into a more viable and vibrant city. I do not think that is a reason to have anything named after him.
