1) age of consent by Anonymous Citizen on May 6, 2005 It's hard for me to believe that a 17 year old w/ normal mental abilities can make an informed choice as to whether or not they are going to have sex. This is a dumb bill and I can't believe that the author can't find something a little more impotant then this to make into a law. Thats part of the problem today, law makers are so punishment orientated. You can't do anything anymore w/o fear of going to prison. Another state now has a law that if you kill someone in an auto accident you may be charged and go to prison. No recklessness, drugs or alcohol needed. Just that a person was in a bad accident. That's why we call them ACCIDENTS. Reply
2) retroacitve by Anonymous Citizen on April 25, 2005 Yes, let's make it retroactive and see how many House Memebers doh't go to jail. Reply
