• Introduced by Rep. Chris Kolb (D) on March 24, 2005, to prohibit the disposal of mercury or a mercury compound in a wastewater disposal system, including an individual home septic system. Industrial users who discharge any mercury would be required to obtain a permit that would subject them to conditions and restrictions.
