Introduced by Rep. LaMar Lemmons III (D) on March 23, 2005, to prohibit foreclosure by local government property tax collectors on the homes of senior citizens or handicapped persons for delinquent taxes.

When you are newly disabled- the system turn on you. You can't have more than one car, you cant have more than $400 in your bank accounts. you have to wait on one agency to approve something for another agency and guess what? The time limit always expires and you become "ineligible" for what ever reason. You can't get a job because "your over 40" or You have diabetes!
All you think you have is your home, that is until you can't come up with funding for the taxes.
