Introduced by Sen. Michael Switalski (D) on April 1, 2004, to eliminate the authority of condominium associations to place a lien upon a member’s unit for the amount of certain legal fees and fines assessed by the association, and limit the power of condominium associations to foreclose on a person’s interest in a condo.
