Introduced by Rep. Jack Minore (D) on April 21, 2004, to provide for Governor Granholm’s proposal to make revenue sharing payments to counties out of a fund to be created by moving up county property tax payments by six months. See House Bill 5786.

The State really seems to think that its hand is faster than the eye of the taxpayer. Taxpayer, keep your eye on your $$.

Why not offer an incentive to the taxpayer? e.g. Pay 2 years of property taxes in advance and get one year "free".
