Introduced by Rep. Michael Sak (D) on March 10, 2004, to require the Secretary of State to develop fund-raising license plates with the logos of the Grand Rapids Griffins hockey team, Grand Rapids Rampage football team and West Michigan Whitecaps baseball team. Fees collected for the plates would go to the Grand Rapids Griffins Youth Foundation and the Y.M.C.A. intercity youth baseball and softball programs.
