Under current law the following fees are scheduled to drop on Oct. 1, 2003: floodplain alteration permit fees; inland lakes and stream project permit fees; riparian ordinary high-water mark survey fees; shorelands protection and management fees; permit fees for construction projects in high-risk areas, flood risk areas, and environmental areas; and Great Lakes dredging fees. The bill would leave higher fees in effect until Oct. 1, 2008.
