Introduced by Sen. Bruce Patterson (R) on June 5, 2003, to add one additional “point” to a person’s driver’s record for each moving violation citation in which the evidence indicates that the use of a cell phone contributed to the cause of the violation.

1) A Harder Bill Please. by MrLiberal on July 28, 2004 I have asked my state rep to create a bill that will stop drivers from using a cellphone while the automoblie is in motion.This bill will also come along with a heavy violation find,and points of a persons driving record.Hopefully this with lower the accident rate.
