Introduced by Rep. Steve Bieda (D) on March 12, 2003, to expand the list of Internet conspiracy crimes to include conspiring to commit property damage. Presently, separate conspiracy charges may be filed when the Internet is used to facilitate various assaults against a person. This bill would allow for the inclusion of crimes against property (malicious destruction, vandalism, etc.).
Referred to the House Criminal Justice Committee on March 12, 2003.
