• Introduced by Sen. Willis Bullard (R) on October 24, 2001, to repeal the state certificate of need program, which requires a hospital to get permission from the state to expand the size or number of its facilities, even though market demand in an area may require greater capacity. The bill is part of a legislative package comprised of Senate Bills 787 to 791, and Senate Bill 802.
