To allow exemptions to the motorcycle helmet requirement for persons 21 years old or older who have been licensed to operate a motorcycle for at least two years, and who have successfully completed a motorcycle safety course, for motorcycle passengers 21 years old or older if the driver meets the age, licensure, and safety training requirements, and for persons operating or riding in an “autocycle” if the vehicle is equipped with a roof that meets or exceeds standards for a crash helmet.
