2003 House Bill 4139

Senate Roll Call 56: Passed

To expand the types of documentation acceptable for a member of the armed forces to establish eligibility for discounted hunting or fishing licenses for species and seasons not limited by lottery. Allowable documents would include duty papers, military orders, or other evidence verifying that the person is stationed outside of the state. Current law permits service men and women who were state residents when they enlisted, or who maintain a residence here, to obtain a hunting or fishing license for $1 and the presentation of leave papers.
