Spend hotel and motel taxes on Northern Michigan tourism promotion

To require that $1.9 million be transferred each fiscal year through 2027 from the “convention facility” taxes that are imposed on hotels and motels, and placed in separate state “Northern Michigan Regional Tourism and Sports” account the bill would authorize, to pay for spending on tourism promotion and facilities.
